Dave sent us a funny story yesterday that we just had to share:
I went to the huge HVAC trade show in Vegas this week, and came across a guy selling gloves.
He started in on these wonderful cut proof gloves, so I said "let's try it out!"
He put the glove on his hand and I gave him a look like "maybe you should take it off".
So he sets the wonder glove on the table, and I pull out my awesome Rajah folder, and with very little pressure, sliced right through the cut-proof glove and right through his table cloth.
The look on his face was priceless and led us to rolling with laughter in
the aisle while he was stumbling for words. Eventually he told us to
just 'move along'!!
I love my Cold Steel!
Thanks for the email Dave - We're glad you convinced him to take off that glove!

Dear Cold steel,
ReplyDeleteI have a been a faithful customer for fourteen years never have
I been misled buy your company. On this occasion i'd have to say I was absoutley misled.
I was at a local gun show when I came across your African walking stick. Being a faithful customer I quickly snachted it up. I thought it would be an average durable walking stick id seen the demo video. I never once heard that it would make me a super hero with my friends.
I told them lets see if this one if this one can brake cinder blocks.
Not being demo ed on your video i decied to try.
After the vast amount of celebrating and screaming oooohhsss and ahhhssss we all decied on our new choice of inpact weapon/ walking stick. NO more asp for these guys. Comparing this to an asp is like comparing a .50 cal to a .177.
If this fit on our duty belts it would be standard issue. Im sure this can be used as a dynamic entry weapon in the right circumstance what a universal key.
My AFRICAN is now veteran to sixteen cinder blocks, two 2x6 boards as well as alot of other things and only a few minor minor scratches stil true to form. I feel like
Conan would aprove this battle worthy.
P.S.
Thank Lynn Thompson from making my wifes christmas shopping a snap.
Very satisfied always faitful.
